The right paper suits your content — some stocks handle images better, some are less translucent. Three FSC®-certified options:
Matte reads better than glossy; thicker paper shows less through the page. See the paper types guide.
Perfectbind (milled glued) — the method we use most often. The sheets are milled at the spine and glued to the cover with hot-melt glue. Short turnaround, the most economical option, works with most paper types.
Sewn binding — sections of 4, 8 or 16 pages are sewn with thread, so pages cannot fall out. Very strong, lies flat when open, works with all paper types.

At Gildeprint you can choose from the following three binding methods: Pur-gluing, Sewn bending and Milled glued/ perfectbind. Pur-gluing is the most common binding method that we use.
If you want to register your thesis, you need an ISBN. ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number and is used worldwide to share data from book-related publications.
We need two to three weeks to produce your dissertation. When you choose a specific finish then a different processing time may apply.
Did you already made a choice which kind of paper you are going to use? The choice of paper should be in line with the content of your thesis. For example, specific paper types lend themselves better for books with images. So it is important to carefully consider the choice of your paper.
